Terms & Conditions

The following terms are the base of all contracts between Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd and the customer for the catering services supplied by Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd.

1. Orders should preferably be placed at least seven days before the event. Shorter notice can be given but items may not be guaranteed available and a substitute of equal value may be used.
2. A minimum order of ten persons applies to all menus.
3. All dates remain available until such time as written conformation has been received. This should be either in letter form or via email. Both addresses on the front of this booklet.
4. An invoice for catering will be issued either to the event location or by post to an invoice address as given by the customer.
5. Payment of invoice must be made within 14 days of event by cheque or via BACS – bank details are given on the invoice.
6. At times it may be necessary due to seasonal or supplier circumstances beyond the control of Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd to vary the menu. Substitutes will be of equal value and we will endeavour to inform you of any changes prior to your event.
7. No booking that has been accepted by Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd may be cancelled with out prior agreement in writing with the company.
8. All damage to or losses of crockery or platters caused by the customer or their guests will be charged at the full replacement cost.
9. Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd does not accept any liability for non-completion or delays of the event in the unlikely result of adverse weather conditions, traffic accident or road closure, civil riots or strikes. Fire, flood or any other act of god or natural disaster, or any other event which is beyond the reasonable control of Select Sandwiches and Catering Ltd.
10. There is no delivery charge for any catering unless outside the Chelmsford area.
11. All prices quoted are subject to the current rate of VAT if catering is delivered.
12. No VAT is chargeable if catering is collected.
